Sticky soy rice
Ingredients:
2 cups half cooked rice.
4 tbsp soy sauce.
1/2 cup spring onion greens (optional)
2 cups flour
Water
1/2 cup butter
4 tbsp oil
1/2 cup onions
1/2 cup capsicum
Method
1. In a pan add butter
2. Once sizzling, add flour and mix
3. Once combined start adding water in parts to form a thick gravy.
4. Half cook the rice and saute the vegetables
5. In a wok add oil and then the rice and veggies and stir fry.
6. Add the gravy in parts until mixed with the rice and cover the pot to let it cook
7. After 5 mins switch off the gas.
8. Remove the rice and garnish with spring onion greens.
